"Another great meal at El Palmer - the Menu was very tasty and excellent value - under €40 for two people including wine, water and coffee."
"Very nice restaurant with lasting flavors. The paella de Marisco, and Valenciana were very good. If you order the menu, be prepared — there’s a lot of food! I’d recommend reducing the number of menus if you’re in a larger group, as it can be hard to finish everything. Can be very loud. Full of mostly Spanish customers. Highly recommend El Palmar!"
"We sat outside in the cool 70 degrees of beautiful Valencia and enjoyed our delicious black rice, seafood paella followed by the most scrumptious regional specialty, turron pudding. The service was impeccable and the servers were fabulous - they accommodated our every whim. Our meal with friends was one of the highlights of our trip. I’m craving their cuisine right now!"
"Great restaurant! Went there because of good reviews and wasn’t disappointed. From the moment we arrived on bikes, everyone was so helpful!! Putting our bikes inside storage! Victor was a great host! Most servers spoke some English. Paella Mixto was delicious, lots of seafood, chicken en veggies. BEST CREMAET in Valencia! Homemade by restaurant owner! Was worth the trip!"
"Wait a minute.. this isn’t a scam! I had one of the best paella in town, a nice typical salad (I even prepare it at home now), the fried squids, the spaghetti-shaped fish & peppers and a jar of tinto de verano. Everything for like nothing! How’s that possible? I even had a fantastic home made cream pudding and A LAKE TOUR with them! Best combo in El Palmar!"
"Delicious food, friendly service, truły Spanish atmosphere. They have rich sets in atractive price. I highway recomend it!"
"We had a nice lunch at El Palmar restaurant. The waiters were a bit intense about pushing the special menu, but otherwise lovely and knew english very well. My friend only had a salad from the tapas part of the menu and it was a bit plain, but the rest of us got a paella mixta which was delicious and filling. The coffee here is 3/5 and the restrooms are not great. But considering the prices it was a very satisfactory experience."
"We took a place outside to eat. Even if they spoke mainly Spanish they did a very good service. Answering or questions and helping us with the menu. To begin, we asked a sangria, quite sweet to my taste... I couldn't really taste the alcohol, but was a good one. We took some tapas: 2 bravas (delicious, with Tabasco sauce and garlic maionese), ensalada, Clochinas Al vapor(very good), Puntilla fresca (it's fried, good but quite oily, wouldn't really recommend). We took a 2 people vegetable Paella, it was good (but not exceptional) to share to 3 . The salt was in a good amount for my friends, but a little salty to me. There was also a considerable amount of oil on it but something that you can get used to. The server thaugh us how to eat it in their way (scratching the borders of the pan, going into the inside of the pan, mixing a little and eating), it assured a better experience. We ate well, couldn't finish everything (half of 1 portion of bravas and half of Puntilla fresca to take away). Even if we asked it separately, they gave the ticket as if it was their tasting menu (19,99/person), what stayed cents cheaper than if we payed it separately (if I'm not wrong). I think taking the tasting menu could be a good idea, because you would still take a dessert, but we were good with that we ordered. Can't say about the inside because didn't see it, but the personal service gave us a really good experience together with the food. Edit: the paella serves minimum 2 people, it looks like it's not a lot, but with the things that we took at the side, was quite too much for 3"
